Raymond Earl

Ray has a wide body of experience from which he constantly draws inspiration. This wide range makes him an ideal motivational speaker and helps him relate to all walks of life.

The Early Years

In High School he started mowing lawns for a company and then later started his own gardening route, which provided the beginnings of understanding customer satisfaction. These humble beginnings make all the difference later on in life; Ray can see value in even menial tasks.

Wanting to get more involved in business he later worked for ADP in data processing. He became an Instructional Media Specialist for LA-USD while going to college and was elected president of the local chapter of California School Employees Association (CSEA).

Sales, Entrepreneurship, and Management

Ray became interested in technical sales and service and was recruited by a company to design and sell professional audio for recording and television studios. Another position he enjoyed was in commercial lending specializing in financing for recording, radio and tv stations.

After moving into retail sales of audio systems, Ray became part owner of a retail high-end audio store. He took the custom installation part of the business and now own a successful national A/V design, sales and installation company.

Becoming an Educator and Consultant

While building his company he taught a series of classes at UCSD, Designing with Entertainment Electronics for Architects and Interior Designers. Then went on to help found the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), which is now an international trade organization. As a founding board member and head of the Manufactures Liaison Committee, Ray consulted with some of the largest electronics manufactures including; Sony, Mitsubishi, and many others as well as speaking at conventions to audiences as large as 5,000. He has also been a member of The Audio Engineers Society (AES) and an Industry Foundation Member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Present: Sharing his Gifts with the World

For some time Ray has wanted to utilize his experience to help people understand the keys to achieve real success in business and life. He realized that these keys were not often taught by parents, in schools or by employers. Seeing that many people were getting the basic core education, but were still very unsuccessful professionally and in other aspects of their lives, he has now built a company, Raymond Earl Motivational Instruction whose mission is; “Motivating people to success through attitude development.” He attributes his own success to persistence and the utilization of, as he puts it, “the wisdom obtained from much smarter, better educated and more experienced people than himself.” He is confident his seminars will inspire, educate and motivate people to greater success in every aspect of life.
